Recently we have been finishing our illuminated manuscripts. We chose a quote that meant something to us then illustrations to adorn it. Mine shows the darkness you hold until you open the new door. Flowers interpreting new life and choices arise.
After lots of work my poster is finally done and submitted. The three areas are his life as a milkman, royal navy, lorry driver and a coffin polisher. It will be put up on a Bowmer and Kirkland building site so keep an eye out around Foutainbridge!
In our graphic design class we have been tasked with an autobiography, I wanted to portray my shy side clashing with my wild nature side. I think it works quite well.
Graphic advocacy often runs the world and a simple poster can change peoples thoughts. I wanted people to think deeper about whale captivity, how it is for peoples entertainment, a large whale in a tiny tank, where people only care about the humour… I think the size of the whale being smaller than the sign shows the view of it being less important and it being in a goldfish bag.
My attempt at a typography cover. Flower is slightly invisible to show the shy side.
My remake of the famous book.
Tasked with a business card to be made. We learnt what colours the laser cutter reads and how it works.
A collage in the making with things such as history, celebrities, technology and food.
This colour wheel is full of photos taken over time by myself including things I like and logos to do with design, including photography too.
