Monday the 10th October I took a trip to Glasgow to visit some museums including the Lighthouse on mitchell lane which I recommend a trip too for anyone. Click on each photo for a description.
I find Charles Rennie Mackintosh chairs very simplistic yet unique. I took a photo of these because each one is different and would fit in any interior.
#thebigroseproject was a lovely wee piece of art on the windows at the viewing platform, they were testing for something but even these two I found beautiful and the view behind makes it all the better.
Small buildings found across the country in tiny hand size models. The fact they are in white makes it much more eye catching and calming.
I took this photo not because I liked the table but because it was placed on a mirror and the reflection went far down giving true depth
The table top itself was leather and I loved that, it was unique and didn’t copy the typical wooden top.
This piano was a favourite of mine as it was so abstract, you had your chinese dragon then some beautiful pear shapes on the sides with many other patterns. I found it much more interesting than any other piano and think if more had graphics like this I would want to play more.
Confused? I found this funny as it was a toilet sign but if you thought in your own way you would think the typical “two faced girl” scenario.
4 heads. 4 colours. 4 different emotions in my eyes. Happy, Energetic, Serene, Eco.
we don’t often see mail boxes like this anymore as they are usually big and red or in our door. I think this was a good use of recycling and using the word sust to show the sustainable materials used.
simple yet messy art. The splats of colour create a beautiful painting of a flower and the cutting brings out the colour.
